In the laboratory of the Nizhny Novgorod University climate change is explored: do scientists give any predictions?

The study of climate changes on Earth are engaged in the research laboratory of the N.I. Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. It was created by means of a grant of the Government of Russia in October 2011. Supervisor of the work is one of the leading scientists in the field of atmospheric physics, professor of the Finnish Meteorological Institute Sergey Zilitinkevich. These days he is on a visit to Nizhny Novgorod. With the crew of "News - Privolzhe" scientists shared their first developments and discoveries.

In Nizhny Novgorod, a press conference for local newspapers and television was held, it was devoted to the project of UNN "The interaction of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and the land surface: the physical mechanisms, the methods of monitoring and control of the planetary boundary layer and the quality of the environment" in the framework of the program of state support of research, conducted under the guidance of leading scientists in Russian universities.

A broadcast from the cycle "Observer"on the Russian TV channel "Culture" was dedicated to the climate and its changes over the past decade. The program was attended by Academician V.G. Bondur, Academician L.M. Zeliony and Professor S.S. Zilitinkevich.
